Hello I'one thousand a Lyft driver and I have a lot of problems with the app, to many hacking situations in this last year , the e-mail the support it doesn't piece of work or it doesn't recive the emails when raiting something is happening in my app, I thing is depens of areas where we are working, considering I have friends every where in the country in diferents estates, and their app is working great not with this kind of situation I accept now. I thing at that place'southward a big manipulation in some areas of the Florida states, like monopolies like the limó companies also I know some people in Miami area they make more then 300 dollars a day with a simple car like my. That'due south the reason I couldn't contact with the existent people in the role of Lyft in Due south Florida. I talking with peoples they have less rides of the calcification "I have almost 6500rides I'one thousand 5 stars driver" just they make more coin of me and their app work with non problems. In the Due south Florida offices is always the same they telling y'all o yes we have a lot of problems with the app and blabkablabla , I was in the office putting the lament and my app for 3 days continue piece of work great after 3 days the app come back to the aforementioned situation, no rides for prolonged time more then two hours, you lot accept to tour off the app and the phone and restarted over again like more than then ten times a twenty-four hour period, is actually sick, sad and ensani.
Suggestions
I similar that as a driver, we take the option of having more rides queue up while nosotros drive but I've been having a bit of an effect with the app queuing me with long distance (37-47min) trips without letting me know before accepting. I don't know how long the trip will exist until I swipe to pick up rider. If I could know beforehand I could maybe finish for gas or a restroom break if needed. It's just a inconvenience.
Besides the app update is very inconvenient when information technology blocks you from touching the screen while driving. I've tried to go offline in the middle of a ride so that I don't get queued with another ride and information technology blocks me from doing anything onscreen until I end. Sometimes I am on the highway and I tin't stop.
I sympathize this may be due to safety reasons so that drivers don't text and drive simply I feel it is better to go offline than to get auto-queued with more rides and having to abolish on them afterwards. The same goes for not being able to click on the passenger's info while driving. In that location was a defoliation between me and a passenger about which address to get to. I could not tap on his info to run across the destination address because the screen was blocked! Very frustrating
Terrible company
I worked for them for three years and since I was permanently deactivated nigh 2 years ago I withal to this day continue regularly to write reviews every bit to remind and warn people to not sign upwardly for this company. Years of piece of work I put in while I maintained a rating effectually iv.ix to 4.8 and lyft has very picayune room for a bad rating because 4.six is risk of deactivation. Anyway my betoken is I was a skilful driver. I did thousands of rides for them and in the finish was one twenty-four hour period surprised past a message stating I was permanently deactivated due to ALLEGED violations of lyfts community terms of service. After emailing and calling for over a calendar month to find out what I supposedly was accused of that was apparently so horrible and trying to become re activated I saw every electronic mail had been completely ignored out of the 30 I sent. I did even so finally go thru to a supervisor on the phone who was as hateful as they come up and said I was accused of texting and driving which by the style I didn't only anyhow texting at driving and they now felt I was unfit to be a driver despite this being my only chore. The rude woman so took a much more stern tone saying I'm a liability and that I will never bulldoze for lyft again and told me to end calling because it won't happen. At that place was no proof given by the person who accused me nor was I given any chance to defend myself it's but just their give-and-take against yours and whether y'all're lucky enough to take lyft believe you. I remain deactivated to this day.
